Driveway cleaning brings the approach to your property into the exterior-care plan. Concrete, exposed aggregate and paving do not all respond to the same treatment. The surface, its condition and the type of marks matter as much as the area, so the work starts with an assessment rather than a one-method-fits-all promise.

What’s separate.
A sound concrete driveway and a worn, previously coated surface can need different care. Existing cracks, loose material, coatings and adjoining finishes need to be considered before cleaning. The aim is to clean the included area; it is not a resurfacing job or a way to remove every sign of age.
Paths and paved courtyards can be included with the driveway when they are measured and listed. Joints, loose pavers and the material around garden edges affect the work. Cleaning, weed removal, re-sanding and resealing are different tasks and should not be bundled together without an explicit scope.
A stain may sit within the surface rather than on top of it. Its age, source and previous treatment influence the result. Assessment can identify suitable options, but ordinary driveway cleaning cannot guarantee complete oil or rust removal. A realistic quote distinguishes surface dirt from permanent discolouration or damage.
The direction water takes, nearby drains and the area available for vehicles affect the plan. The cleaning method and wash-water controls should be considered together. Where the driveway is the only entrance, the timing and reopening arrangements need to suit the people using it.
