Pot plants, overhanging shrubs and shaded corners can leave different marks across the same deck. Those areas need assessment alongside the rest of the boards, especially where moisture or an old coating has changed their condition. Cleaning the included surface does not mean trimming the garden or moving every heavy planter.
Some Auckland outdoor areas have only a narrow side route or access through an occupied home. Equipment movement and the places that need protection should be worked through before the visit. A deck reached by steps also needs a plan that keeps the household’s usable route clear.
